Collaboratively enhance mediawiki extensions: Do any of you have good students, who can do web development in php?
Bjoern 17:46, 17 June 2008 (UTC): Try the 'MonoBmo' skin. It's about 1/4 of the usual MonoBook skin, but has a similar look and feel. This was put together very quickly, and is really just a proof of concept.

Reduce the current wiki skin in bandwidth.

Wiki-replication-network: Write an application that synchronises two mediawikis.
This would allow you to write e.g. documentation on your local area network (without international bandwidth or connection), and the wiki would then synchronise with a wiki hosted elsewhere, so that the rest of the world can see your stuff too. This is quite a hard project, but could be worth while.
Btw. did you realise that you can take a local (read-only) copy of wikipedia, giving you an instant encyclopia for your campus?
