Use cases:

• Create a static copy of a mediawiki elsewhere:
  • On my desktop (e.g. html via Collection extension, also see Mwlib, and OpenZIM.)
  • On a server within a LAN (see mirroring, and also Mediawiki/OAI mirror etc)
• Create a copy for editing elsewhere
  • On my desktop (Mvs)
• Move (part of) a mediawiki to another mediawiki
  • Mediawiki Moving: see moving
• Keep two wikis synchronised
