  • We have been thinking of establishing (an) e-learning Management system for Teaching and Learning in the University but we have not been made any impact in that direction. With the knowledge and skills we have been loaded with in this workshop, myself and my colleague from the same University will try our best in implementing e-learning with the use of Open Source Software Ubuntu, Apache, PHP and Moodle as our developmental tools.

  • My plan for my home institution, we will explore the process to select and implement a wiki for teaching and learning. The selection criteria and evaluation process will be discussed. This will include an exploration into privacy concerns based on FERPA. We will also explore the integration into the campus student information system and authentication to automate wiki and account creation based on courses. Finally we will delve into the pilot group of wikis created for various classes to see how they are currently being used.

  • The workshop on rich media webcasting technologies for science dissemination has enriched my knowledge especially in video lecture recording. From this workshop I get more information about various academic media landscape, audio recording using Audacity, podcasting, open courseware, wink, wiki, wordpress, bandwidth and legal issues.
